This Lighthouse was built in 1908 and has been designated as he remembersThe of cultural heritage. Is located along the coastline, near Kalamia beach. OFaros belongs to its jurisdiction Navy Lighthouse Service and free guided tour inside Lighthouse it is done World Lighthouse Day August 20 every year or only after special permission has been granted to the visitors concerned, in the presence of the lighthouse keeper or another representative of the Serviceof Faron.
